The other day i was doin one of FS's flights between Heathrow(London) and Orly(Paris). The weather was overcast with lite winds. A bit into the flight my FPS's whent to 1 after being at 16 and i couldn't get them back up. Any ideas Why? do you need my sys specs? (just think the worst) I might post them later.
Heavy cloud has that effect on systems, especially lower end systems. Posting your specs would be useful.
😉

I had the same thing! I was flying to Heathrow from Orly ,It was overcast ,when I was landing FPS went to 3-4FPS
My system specs are now in my signature...They are what I remeber without looking, I will update them later. I use a different computer for online activity than for FS.
You are quite low on RAM so your performance isn't very surprising. You'll have to turn down your clouds to a minimum or completely shut them off for better FPS.
😉
Instead of upgrading, save up your money and buy a PC with an AMD Processor. For the time being, do what I do:
When you are 20 minutes from landing, save your flight.
Restart your computer.
Restart FS.
Load up your flight and continue.
Oh man, I'm sad to hear your specs, but i'm affraid they suck.
Danny to a lot of people I know, your specs "suck". People get by with what they have, your reply is not amusing or helpful.
mcmxl- some good suggestions above hope this solves your problem.
This is an old string, but thanx for all the help. I found that turnning my autogen off helps my FS perform a lot better...I think I got the Idea from reading one of Radarman's posts...Thanx
