Mid-Air Collision in Malta

It says that the picture was added today but that doesn't mean it was shot today. I haven't heard anything on the news 😉

It happened a few hours ago resulting in the Malta Aero GP which only started today being cancelled. RIP Gabor Vargas.

apparently the pilot who died drowned rather than dieing from the impact 😞

I saw a video my maltese friend had on a website somewhere in a news feed...

they were close echelon right formation in a left turn, the aircraft piloted by the Irishman suddenly either gets faster or the leading aircraft suddenley slowed causing the collision and the tail to be smashed off, the irishmans plane managed to gain enough altitude for him to bail out, the dead pilot's aircraft nose dived straight into the harbour 😞

i hate to see crashes and deaths RIP
