Strange trim problems

Burner71 Guest

So I installed last night....took forever!

At first when I hit free flight I was disapointed with the graphics until I realised the defaults were set to very low.

I reset then loved the cars on the highways, but then something odd happened.

The plane pitched up hard and could not be made to fly level at speed.

I looked at the trim and it had run all the way to the bottom for full up elevator trim.

I trimmed it back to neutral and as soon as I did it quickly ran back to full up again.
I changed planes several times and now they all have full up trim in the elevators.

It will not stay in neutral, what the heck is going on?

COuld my joystick be messed up or something?
I'ts only a 2 axis 2 button stick

Yeah, it could be that your joystick or the numpad on your keyboard has a problem of some sort...

Try re-calibrating it. Its under Options>Controls>Calibrate Joystick.

Or something like that 🙂

Good luck!

In the sim, go to: settings-controls-buttons/keys. Look to see what you have bound to your trim command, and be sure there is no "repeat" slider listed for it. You could always try changing the assignment, as well.

Checking your calibration would also be a good idea, yes.

If none of this helps, compare the same stick with another game, that will tell you if you need a new one.
