I also was adding a lot of new files to my fs9, and know when I setup a flight plan I don't see any other traffic at the airports or in the air.
Does any one have an Idea what I might have done wrong?

check in settings under traffic, just slide the density bar to the amount of traffic you want

Easy to follow instructions of how to add more local traffic
And dont forget the more parking space's you have, then more traffic can use that airport.
