Can people try this config for FSX on their PC and post their average Frames Per Second.
I'll go first:
Average FPS: 8.5 (8.0 - 9.0)
CPU: Intel 3.4GHz P4 550
GPU: GeForce 6600GT
RAM: 2x512MB TwinX Corsair 2-2-2-5 DDRI
Overclocked: No
Here’s how:
Make an new text file and paste the following code into it. Rename the text file from ".txt" to ".cfg" extension. Open the cfg file from in FSX and write what FPS you get when you start on the runway, we'll go Princess Juliana airport (Netherlands Antilles) with fair weather, day time, tower view.
To see your FPS press <CTRL+Z> twice.

Bump... It's not hard
Nice try but... U should mention what aircraft. It is not the same with all the planes.
Would be easier to just ask everyone to set FSX settings to Max instead of editing their cfg file which will be different for every machine depending on video card. Some cards support different shader versions.
This test will not really prove anything, sorry to say. FSX either runs well or it doesn't !!
