Hello

I am going to build a new system and i was wondering if i could use AMD Athlon 64 X2 (Dual Core) with ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard. A Friend of mine rekons you can, but it dosn't say anything on the box or manual that you can use a Dual Core Processor.

Yes, you can. I was using the A8N-SLI Deluxe MB with an AMD Athlon X2 4400+ CPU and it worked perfect. However, I upgraded the motherboard to the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium mb because the chipset fan on the deluxe model was a bit loud.

Ha,

I contacted them for a new fan but no luck so i sent several letters to Asus , and rung them up and then 3 days later i got my new chip set fan. Didn't cost me a thing. Its far quieter and works better. Its a know error on the Deluxe MB.
