A helicopter crashed last night in morecambe bay.

Ive decided to post this as my dad works on the rigs there and he told me he was on that very helicopter last friday when he came home for christmas and the new year.

Very sad indeed. From what I understand the helecoptor had just stopped at 2 rigs and was on its way the the third when it very suddenly ditched in to the sea. It sounds like mechanical failure but thats just speculation.
