I honestly am actually surprised that you can run FSX at all. If you want to know more about your specs, download and run the Belarc advisor -- it's safe. This would probably be the first thing to look at.

There's gonna be a whole lotta stuff on the page once you've run Belarc. Just post your specs here -- nothing else. 😎

computer is not the greatest, but ok. (there is no greatest computer, LOL)

just add RAM to 2 GB.

it would help.

but don't expect to run FSX at full resolution. NO computer can do that yet.

if you got lots of money, buy a 8800 graphics card. It will cost you more than the computer.

im going to increase my ram cause at the momont im using 2 256 mb ram sticks but i have ordered two 1 gb ram sticks i have done a check and my computer can use them so im really exited

im upgrding to vista soon so lets hope that that will improve it aswell
thnx for all your help guys

Guest

don't bother with vista. it won't help.

fsx is not on directx yet, not until the end of the year anyway. there is no hurry to upgrade to vista.

also directx requires a directx graphics card (e.g. 8800), so even if you have vista and fsx directx, but no directx graphics card, you are nothing.

the most important point:
unless you are getting a computer pre-loaded with vista, otherwise don't bother. you will need new drivers for all the hardware, etc. it is just not worth the trouble. (unless you are really good with computer stuff)
