Problem With FS2004 and Windows Vista

I just installed FS2004 in Windows Vista, and it is giving me a huge problem. The views seem to freeze, although the buttons are still functionable. You try to switch views and it stays in the same view you were in. Then when you switch to full screen mode, everything seems to work fine. Does anyone have this problem, or know a solution for it?
