level-d vatsim descend question
when you decend, do you wait for atc to tell you or follow vnav path? when atc tells you to decend, can you just use level change to do that?

If you're simulating IFR(Instrument Flight Rules), which all aircraft that are above Flight Level 180 are, you have to have a clearance from ATC to climb or descend. Yes you can use FLCH or level change, you can also use vertical speed.
