the U.S. Coast Guard is the toughest and hardest branch for a pilot to get into...
they are the best of the best pilots.
they have a highers pilot percentage in overall pilots and skill porformance levels out of the entire Air Force.
they really are they best pilots in the U.S.
but it takes years to get trained and educated enough to fly with them im willing to take those years, ARE YOU? 
it takes longer to train to be a fixed winged aircraft than it does a rotary aircraft. 500 hours pre experience for helicopters and 1000 for fixed wing
I recomend going to a college that is eligable for Blue21, if you want to be a U.S. Coast Guard pilot. learn more on their webpage
