ILS Landing Runway Approach in FS2004

On Flight Sim 2004, how do you set it up to do an ILS landing so that the plain is level with the runway on aproach. Do you do this when you make the flight plan. This would make the approach easy, although i have master the manual one know, after alot of practise.
