Q. CFS3 crashes when I exit quick missions, and sometimes freezes after I crash an aircraft.
A. Delete the Uisel.xml file in the following directories:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0.
Then check if you have the following directory in your Combat Flight Simulator 3 directory:
WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0
If this directory exists delete the Uisel.xml file there as well.
CFS 3 will generate a new updated file when you restart the game. This will solve

Dear Radar Man.
That helped a bit now system just crashes, sends error message to microsoft and there the story ends.
Plan B???
There must be a plan B
Tell us the exact error message (details).
Radar Man
Thanks for your help.
There is no error message, the system just freezes, have to re-boot the computer, restart the CFS3 goes straight into 'troublshooting crashing issues.
Re start CFS3 plays for a few mins then freezes again.
Repeat all above.
They suggest in the 13 page troubleshooting run msconfig.
now i dont know what to do, just got rid of all fsx stuff as well.

Jonathan
First I would clean out the old video drivers and install new ones.
See if that helps.
If anything else on your computer gives you the same problems then the fault is in your machine but get to that later.
If the new drivers don't do it check these out.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled the programme, uploaded new drivers, but still after 20 mins flying, it still freezes up, no error message displayed.

Windows XP Pro
Directs X
3 internal fans
Cann't think what else to do.

Did you try it without the patch.
Is it patched.
Is the computer case clean of all dust (overheating), you have to do this often.
Are you using the no-cd crack, if not do.
Radar Man
Reloaded, removed patch, system crashed.
Go following error message:
C:\DOCUME~1\JONATH~1\LOCALS~1TEMP\WERC44b.dir00\Mini03018.01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\JONATH~1\LOCALS~1TEMP\WERC44b.dir00\sysdata.xml
Reported it to lords and masters their link went to Device Drivers

Could I be using too much memory?
System is a tower system that got clead out the other day.
No freezer unit installed.
Don't you get any sleep?
Regards

XP is XP, it doesn't matter how much memory (as long as it's not to little).
Since your not playing on line disable your anti virus (not the firewall ever) and see how the game does.
You should see how many programs are running in the background, they may be starting up and shutting you down.
😂 😂 I'm in the US, 7 hours different than you.
did that still no good.
firewall on perm, anti v turned off.
De fraged hard drive which is a 500gb hd.
cann't thick what else to do.
When you un install you have to clean the registry also.
Here is the main site.

CFS3 was a liile buggy, CFS2 is still the prefered one.
I had IL2FB a long time ago and that series still seems to be popular.
Demo.
