I downloaded the these aircraft, (Fly Away aircraft of the day), used the self installer and now cannot find them in FS9. The download appears in the drive, ie FS9 aircraft but not in FS9 itself. I have tried looking under aircraft manufacturer but nothing.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Was the download of the day for FSX? See what it says, it might have been.

Thanks for the tip, but the same happens in FSX. ie, I can see it in the drive but not in the simulator itself. It seems to install but I just cant get it.

Worse happens with the TU-154 also just listed by Fly Away,, it just crashes on the desk top and does,nt download.
Im starting to feel paranoid! 😞

I thought I might tackle this a different way. Given that I can find the aircraft in the aircraft folder but not in the simulator, could someone please tell me if/how I can transfer the aircraft contents to the simulator.

thanks in advance

Thanks,, but it comes with a self installer. I cant install manually.
It looks a really beauifully made aircraft. I wouldn't give it so much time otherwise.

If it comes with a self installer (exe) then be sure that it points at your aircraft folder so it can install properly.

Yes, I make sure it goes to the right drive, directory etc. I have recently bought a new computer with two hard drives. I have installed FS9 in E drive and thats where it goes. It installs okay and I look in the drive and it is there in full. BUT, not in the simulator. 😞

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem???

thanks anyway RadarMan.
