What is a good joy stick for fsx to use for flying helli's

Check out the Saitek Cyborg F.L.Y. stick. I don't have this one but have read this is an excellent joystick for all flight simulators.http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/fly5.html

The Saitek sticks are good yes - you want one with grip rudder control for helis.
