I have read somewhere that if you press the 'prt scrn' key, it will take a screenshot in non-full screen mode. is this true? and, if it is true, where does the screenshots you have tooken get stored to on your computer?
if this is not true, do you need to download a program to take screenshots?

You have to press "Print Screen" and then you go into Paint or any photo program and click paste.

There are several programs that will allow to to take muliple shots and the one I and several other members here use is the free version of Screenhunter ➡
