Unlock Tailwheel - Flight Simulator X (Aircraft)

I just downloaded the DC3 Legend of Flight..great ship, but how do you unlock the tailwheel? And does this aircraft only turn with the R & L brakes applied? Having trouble turning the plane on the ground etc? Thanks!
