Hi.
I am considering buying Microsoft FSX Gold from the Microsoft Store. In the description it says it includes an SDK. Is this SDK any similar to Plane-Maker on X-Plane? Will I need experience in programming? Screenshots of the included SDK would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response.
How to I create the 3D model and gauges in the cockpit?
Also, are there any tutorials on programming FSX aircraft?
Take a look at this for gauges.

tutorials on programming FSX aircraft?
Probably but nothing comes to mind right now.
Do I need a 3D modeling program for the virtual cockpit?
Sorry, I've never done it so I can't help there.
I was looking at the Microsoft site and it said I have to code in pitch and roll numbers. Where do I find these?
Thanks
Yes, but where do I find the information to make it as realistic as possible to the real aircraft? I have not found information of this type.
I take it that the last link and it's sidebar links didn't help.
For this I think you would be better off asking that at a aircraft designer forum.
They would have the information that we don't just as we have information that they don't.
This is one of the best, try it and let us know how you do.
Good luck!
