FSX Editions - Confused

I have FSX Deluxe Edition. I have not used FSX for a few years, so I'm confused about releases and content.

I'm confused about what Deluxe includes in the way of updates. I seem to remember having to add SP1 and SP2 to an earlier version of FSX. Are the two Service Pack updates already included in FSX Deluxe.

What about "Acceleration" . I saw one comment about FSX "Gold Edition" combining Deluxe and Acceleration in the Gold release.

As stated, I have FSX Deluxe Edition. What do I need to download and add to be up to date?

Also, I see "Steam Edition". What does that provide for me to use?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Tom

Deluxe needs SP1 and SP2 to be added.
Acceleration already has both built in so they enter smoothly.
Gold has Deluxe and Acceleration in one pack.

Steam bought The Flight Sim rights from MS.
It has some differences, check out their forum if you wish.

OK....My mind was foggy regarding what was included in the Deluxe Edition and I no longer had the documentation that came with the package.

After installing SP1 and SP2, all my texture issues with the downloaded aircraft went away. MegaScenery performance is greatly improved as well.

Happy with the results! Thanks for your help!
