Missing guages in downloaded aircraft and FSX aircraft.

Hi all,
Have had a problem with my guages loading, from a previous post I changed fsx.CFG to fsx.bac. and it worked fine until I booted computer the next day.
I actally copied the fsx.CFG file and deleted the original but it wouldn't paste so I returned the delected file. The guages then worked. Now they don't again!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Some guages do work in FSX.
