Can anyone tell me why my Joystick (Thrustmaster Hotas x) works perfectly well in training modes but won't work in any other situation eg. when you create you're own flight. Same goes for Kayboard and mouse too. If I try to fly in any situation apart from training the power is on full with no control over it or anything else at all. It's like all control functions have been removed altogether.

There are a few things that I can suggest.
Try moving the sticks power line to another USB port, preferably on the computer rather than on a periferal.
Clean out all the software you loaded for the stick and download new software or drivers from the manufacturers site.
Check in the sim and be sure that it recognizes the stick.
