Jackie Z,
There are a number of things that can cause that Crash.  First thing I would look at is your computer system (type).  With todays Sim's there is quite a demand on your resources.  1st thing that comes to mind is:   You may have a 'Monster' eatimg up your video card memory -  One program I use is WINDOWS MECHANIC -  This program is a complete system for cleaning up to 12GB of garbage out of my Video Card active running memory.  I start my Flightsim with a clean 32GB Dual Direction video card....ready to handle anything and everything close to being 'Maxed Out' and still get 78 - 102 FPS.  I clean and check the REGISTRY for errors ((with the same program(s)).  Garbage "sludge" from your daily use of the WEB will accumulate and slow you down.
I hope thse thoughts will be helpful.
