I have several folders on my desktop. They are labeled- hangar, wk bench and things like this. When I want to install/uninstall temporarily or perm., all I do is go into explorer and drag and drop the files. It takes about 10 seconds!!!!!!!
If I mess with a plane, the first thing I do is, using the drag/copy command, drag and drop the aircraft in to my 'hangar'. This way, if anything goes wrong, I only have to 're' drag and drop it back to where it was and all is good.
Quite simple.
I also have a shortcut on my desktop to FS9 files so I do not have to take 5 min to go through opening explorer.
😀
Work with a system is great. I have a folder called "Hold" in my root file and slip backups and whatever in there.
Right!!! This kind of way allows IMMEDIATE access to files for backup and all!!!! When I screw up a aircraft where backtracking is hopless, I can immediately rstore it.
😉 😉
