Here's a link to great locations using Google Maps satellite pictures:
It's really easy to spend way too much time there, as it has great locations like Area 51, Playboy Mansion, US Space and Rocket Center, Nude Beach, KLAX Airport, and 100's of landmarks. The satellite detail is amazing.
It is pretty cool - although they don't have the Scranton PA area yet.
Some cool landmarks I found:

Yep, can see mine. Two problems with the satellite view. One, the pointer points to the wrong building. Two, the satellite view is at least two months out of date (2 trees shown in it, no longer exist).
It''s really hard to update the whole picture of the world again...Maybe they will update it later.
