I've order a garmin 296 for my real flying. I was wondering how close the 295 GPS is in function the new 296?

Also is there an add on available to turn the 295 into a 296 GPS?

You can download the "Pilot's Guide" manuals for the GPSMAP 295 (discontinued) and the GPSMAP 296 in PDF file format and compare them if you care to from Garmin Manuals Give the page a few seconds to load
