Since most of us hate searching for good freeware why not post links
to very good freeware that not too many know about. Obviously if you
post it has to be freeware, and it has to be of very good quality.
Here's one that not too many know about. It's the Dassualt Falcon from FS2000 & FS2002, when you downloaded it from AVSIM or FLIGHTSIM it wasn't FS2004 compatible, most features didnt work. But on this French site they have a FULLY working falcon for FS2004 thats even been improved a bit from the 2002 version.
I have this - It's beautiful! It has a virtual cabin, and it's fun to fly.
Lots of these posts have come up, but it's always great to see which aircraft remain on top after boiling down the lists!
My vote for GA aircraft goes to the Maul M7-260 package. In a whopping 64 mb download you get 6 variations of a really rugged plane, with several types of gear configurations. The panel / radiostack for this plane is great, but the VC is absolutly stunning. I generally enjoy flying in 2d mode much more than in the VC, but this is one plane I make an exception for!
My vote for scenery goes to the freeware LaGuardia upgrade! LGA is my home airport and they really managed to capture it in this freebie (including the Delta terminal). The tax on your FPS isn't that bad, but you do need to consider that you're adding a scenery enhancement to the already crowded NY skyline.
You'll also need an upgraded AFCAD file, or else you'll find lots of planes parked in the alleyways...
kitty hawk studios, they have the best 737's and 727's going
This Tuplev has panel, sounds, VC, and virtual cabin.
Bill Lyons put all his pay-ware up as free-ware, excellent aircraft.

Super Decathlon as good as any pay-ware.
Milton Shupe, free but as good as pay.

Of course this list is completed by Mike Stone.

Hi folks,
The prolific Jens B. Kristensen is often overlooked - one of those quiet achievers. My personal favorites are to be found here:
I've flown some of his Short xxx, some flights are included. Complete packages, great flight characteristics last but not least great sounfiles.
Something different if you don't mind the occasional change.
727s? Vistaliners are my favorite.
Regards, Rick

Search avsim for original aircraft using the term dash7, and you come up dry. I have the Canadian Ice Recon version and have been looking for a more suitable version for commercial service, but can not find the bloody thing. If beople have web sites for their projects, why the devil don't they have web sites that are actually useful?
