So here we are, waiting to take of from NewYork

And we are off, the focker is in the air!

Flying up over NYC

Well on route, about half way

Decending towards destination anywhere!

Turning onto final approach

Coming into land

And we have full stop!!

I banked left coming out of NYC and flew for about 3-4 hundred miles before turning into the runway, so if you can work out where i landed, all credit to you!!

West of NYC, 300-400 miles.... Not a clue.

Beautiful ground scenery. What NY scenery package is that?

Except that he takes off heading east, turns left, or north, descends going east and lands going south. Hmmm.

Regards,

Cleveland is as close as I got, in Ohio. Doesn't look like Cleveland, either. Of course, when I was there, heading to Flint, MI, the plane they used had props on it. 😳

I used google Earth and found Youngstown to be reasonably near the coordinates in one of the screenshots.

I must be really dumb. I keep getting roped into these "guess what" threads. I should know better. 😞

CrashGordon,

I don't mind trying to guess. Now he is holding us in suspense. I think that we have legitimate guesses, without knowing a hole lot about direction, altitude, and all of the rest of the stuff oh and the runnway would be helpful yes. Well, if you have never been to Youngstown you aren't missing much.

Well, looking at the coordinates on one of your pictures would be easier.
I plugged them into flight simulator, and seeing that the airport has one runway, the airport looks like it could be either Akron Fulton Intl (KAKR) or any one of the small airports north of the position which are along the coast one of those big lakes in Michigan (sorry I don't know the 52 states!)
I think this would be a good estimate.

Looking at the picture, you look on the coast of the "big"lake

all will be reveilled soon my friends 😉

by the way, just in case you cant tell, im right near the coast!!

Er....I'm guessing one of the southern states in the USA, prehaps Virginia, Georgia or North/South Carolina???

Answered

Well, from somewhere over Ohio his heading was 305. It's late, almost time for bed, and I don't feel like opening up my big National Geographic atlas to plot that course. But maybe Detroit, which is more-or-less along the shores of Lake St. Claire, a large but shallow lake that links the Great Lakes Huron and Ontario. But then again, I could be wrong.
