No sound!!!

I have asked this elsewhere but thee is still no solution!

When you say "just in general" that means absolutely nothing to me. Please be specific. Are you getting any sound with windows, any other games, anywhere, reboot and see.
It's a new laptop, maybe you have to bring it back.

All games and windows have no sounds at all

If your talking about just FS9, then try hitting the Q key. That turns the sound on and off.

Reboot and see if that helps.
Check the sound in the control panel, press the button in there to see if there are any sounds.
Read the book to see if any key like he said contols the sound of the machine also.
If it is completely quiet then take it back to the store now while you have time and it's in guarantee.

Windows is a funny animal, sometimes rebooting can cure many things.
