Sound Issues - Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight (FS2004 General)

I'm having a problem with fs2004. I get no turbine sounds or instructor voice during lessons. I have tried upgrading my sound driver and my video driver. All other sounds seem to work correctly even prop engine aircraft. My system is 1.8 with 512 and a 64mb video card.

Any help would be great, I'm out of ideas.

I have sound problems too. My ATC and Lesson Instructers voices are all distorted. Also, sometimes when I put my flaps down or up, the noise of them moving keeps on looping and I have to press Q to turn the sound off, then on again to stop it...... 😕
