Yes,my 1st PC with any sort of games capability had a GFX chip from 3DFX(bought out by Nvidia)and just 256mbs memory(and that was a lot then
Makes you wonder whats around the corner

try speccing those parts up individually, i bet you find the closest equivalent you can build yourself is far far far cheaper

The only time I even look at my computer is to turn it on/off put a CD in or plug in my headphones. Otherwise, it is in the right pedestal of my desk and out of sight.

Regrettably, no one pays any attention to it any more.. Also, you can hardly find a beige computer any more.

I'm just thankful they don't make computers the way they do cell phones, or we'd have cases with rhinestones and flashing LEDs that have no purpose whatever. 🙄
