Hi everyone, I see an Adiru button in the overhead of jets like the 777, but have no idea what it is. Wikipedia have nothing on it either. Can anyone shed some light on it?
Thanks a lot, JTH 🙂
ADIRU= Air Data Inertial Reference Unit
Here's what it does.

To add to Radarman's find:
Honeywell Aerospace has been selected by Airbus to provide its next-generation air data inertial reference unit (ADIRU) for the A380 as well as for the A330/340 and A320 families.
Okay thanks. So I suppose it's like a sensor that calculates wind etc.?
