ILS Landing - BRG Heading and GPS

Hi all,

Im having a problem with the ILS landing... nothing to major.
I follow the instructions when on the approach but when I get landing clearance, I am not aligned with the runway. I can turn manually and land OK but id prefer to be aligned with the runway when I come off AP.

Do I wait until I get landing clearance and then turn to the BRG heading on the GPS?

ATC should have you flying through the ILS beam so that your autopilot can adjust
Fs ATC does like you to be below the glide slope 🙄 by a long way

What I normally do is follow ATC untill the start my decent,I then cancel ATC and contact the airport direct.This way I can judge my decent rate and pick the ILS in a more realistic way
