Ummmm, interesting FSpassengers event

Hey Peeps,

I have just flown Manchester to Heathrow in my A319 with FSpassengers loaded. I have followed the IFR instructions throughout and I was in the correct holding pattern for heathrow, but suddenly I flew over a war risk zone. How does that work? I had one of my fuel tanks ruptured and I now have an ever decreasing company reputation.

Anyone else seen this?

Anyway, I managed to land safely, and actually got my best ever score :p

You must have flown over the Houses Of Parliament which is between London City Airport, and Heathrow Airport, for the 27L and 27R approaches. Why it is classed as a war zone I don't know 🙄 but still, it can be disabled if you'd like.

Anyway, congratulations on safe landing 👍

Hi leachus2002.... I had the same thing happen to me while landing at Heathrow in a 737.... took me by surprise too as it's my understanding that it's been a little while since London was declared a war zone. Then again it's been a while since i've been 🙂

Restricted airspace. Just like flying over the White House, US Capitol, The Vatican, etc. Not quite realistic, but I guess they couldn't figure out how to put a pair of F-16s on your wing tips to escort you out of the area...or put a missle in you.
