I am having trouble stopping the POSKY 738. Example:
Inbound to KPHX rwy 25L (7800') with the 738.
I touch down at 135kias at the beginning of the runway.
Speed brakes come up, flaps all the way down, reversers fully deployed.
It took me the ENITRE runway, plus 50 extra feet to stop the aircraft.
Is this a flaw?
spoilers deployed?
Spoilers were deployed. I had 20% of fuel on board.
That happened to me a while back.
Try replacing the POSKY 738 .air file with the default B737 one.
As I can recall, I think that fixed it.
Are you sure the thrust was reversed?
An engine coming to full power sounds exactly the same whether reverse gates are deployed or not.
I would suspect your autothrottle was stuck on, trying to maintain 135 knots.
well, when I use the autobrakes with the posky 738 it slows down very slowly, thats why I never use it.. just brake manually 🙂
i agree with SeanGA.. i use manual braking most of the time, seeing that many models i have downloaded don't even have a working autobrake.
It seems to be a common problem with freeware aircraft. A lot of them have very weak and unrealistic braking systems.
Have a read of this post and see if it helps. You can attempt to fix it using the .cfg file:

😉
Hmmm, have you checked the runway, i mean, was it long enought?, because using autobreakes and reverse this plane will stop slowly. 🙄
hm jon.. that was a really nice contribution to this thread 😀
