When starting any plane with a trim tab, it immediately goes all the way down, causing the nose of the plane to constantly maintain an up attitude pitch. It will not allow me to change the trim tab in any way. I have tried changing assignments and making sure that it is not assigned to anything else. It is also doing this with the brakes (unable to disengage). Any help would be appreciated.

And did you try resetting all the key assignments to the defaults? There's a button that does that.
