In the mid sixties this radio station was hounded by the government of the time, and through thick and thin they still managed to broadcast(ships sinking, being raided, being escorted so no fuel could be delivered and masts falling down to name a few)
Its been on Sky digi for a while(hidden) but now is on the EPG 0199

Ah good old Radio Caroline where most of today's DJ's came from. If it wasn't for Radio Caroline there wouldn't be certain radio stations. Radio Caroline certainly set the standards and others are just following in there footsteps.

If it wasn't for Radio Caroline BBC Radio 1 wouldn't be where it was today.

The 1st bit is true
As for for the 2nd bit Umm... I wonder sometimes as to whether is a good thing or bad ROFL

After all the pirate stations shut down, except Caroline,Radio 1 started and turned out to be an exact copy of Big L
Even the jingles were the same
Wonderful Radio London
Wonderful Radio 1

Big L is also on the EPG 0190 but has nothing to do with the original Radio London
