take-off flaps on cessna

i am flying a cessna 208 amphibian, but in the fspax report , it says i forgot to set the propper flaps when taking off. So what are the proper flaps? 😕

if you have a payload - which you will in fspax then just the first notch will do Wink

alright, i tried it on first notch and still got -300 points from not setting correctly Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Make sure you are not below 200ft ASL when retracting the flaps or fspax will assume you never used them.

I've never heard of ASL. I couldn't find the abbreviation in the FAR AIM either. Wouldn't it be MSL? Mean Sea Level

I think the official abbreviation is AMSL (Above Mean Sea Level) which has the altimeter setting of QNH 😉

I have had the same issue and put it down to a software glitch. I did not focus on it as I fly heavies.

Using time accelaration on a 17 minute flight is just god damn lazy 😛

The flaps need to be somewhere between 5-15 degrees I think. It's not always the first click, the first click in a 737 is 1 degree...
