Taxiing with the king air

Falconer Guest

Hello, why does the king air move automatically when I release the parking brakes? The speed increases and I have to break all the time 😕

you need to feather the props to create less 'grip' in the air. the feather lever is on the throttle quadrant Wink

I taxi with only one engine running. Also, are you using the keyboard as a throttle or do you have a throttle on your joystick? If it is on your joystick, when you bring it all the way back, it is still at 1 or 2% which would be why your rolling forward. Press F1 to bring the throttles all the way back.

It might also help to put the condtion levers in low idle.
