Is there any way to show other surrounding aircraft on the GPS besides your own.

Not on the default GPS systems that come with FS2004 (The Garmin 295 and 500)... GPS is more about proximity in relation to fixed points on the planet (via Sattelite), you'd need some sort of Radar to be able to see other planes (that would be good!)....
So you tend to rely on ATC to keep you apart, when flying IFR...
ok cheers's yeah it would be good idea to have a radar,maybe on the next upgrade eh who knows.
If you get Ultimate Traffic you will get a built-in TCAS instrument. I have UT and the TCAS works fine. I got UT on a CD, but I will guess that the download UT also has the TCAS. 😉
