Can the folks who routinely mangle the english language hope to understand the following? 😂
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
Edit: I left something out.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
whud u saay?
Seriously, I understand the individual words but I'm having trouble understanding the point being made, if there is one (other than the pedantic display of alliteration).
"Waiter, I'll have the Vichyssoise of Verbiage." 😂

😂 I guess something is lacking with it out of context,
I understand every single word and also the meaning...And he is absolutely right... ❗
🙂)
I only understood some of the words, and I'm not really in the mood to pick up my dictionnary at the moment... ^^
Here we go:
"Lo! You see before you a humble veteran actor of folk theatre, cast as a substitude as both victim and villain, by the ebbs and flows of Fate. This face, no mere facade of vanity is a remnant of the voice of the people, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous appearance of a by-gone annoyance stands big as life and has vowed to conquer these bought-and-sold and contageous vermin who spearhead vice and safekeep the violently vicious and ravenous violation of free will. The only verdict is vengeance; a retribution, held as an oath, not in vain, because the value and truthfulness of such, shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virutous. Truly, this soup of words tends to get long now, so let me simply add that it's my good honor to meet you and you may call me V."
It's a quote from "V for Vendetta" - an excellent movie. Not only an allegory for today (and any day), but also a reminder of our civic duties, our responsibility towards freedom, each other and ourselves.
Watch it.
V for Vendetta is one of the best movies ever. It has a better twist than Flightplan (but that didn't have a very good twist anyway!)
I wonder what portion of those who saw the movie and heard those lines, understood them?
The original quote reminds me of another by a man of few, but well-chosen, words:
"He can compress the most words into the smallest idea of any man I
know." - Abraham Lincoln 😉

Abraham Lincoln.....,Loved him in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". 😂
i got lost at the 6th word then gave up
Vaudevillian refers to vaudville, a form of entertainment popular in the early 20th century.
If you'd googled the word, you'd find this link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaudevillian
Why is it that people come across something they are unfamiliar with, and rather than learn about it, they simply give up? 🙄
Some things to some people can be described as clutter.

An interesting point. From my perspective, it is a little like saying I want to go through life knowing as little as I can. It isn't a concept I am comfortable with. There is no such thing as useless knowledge.
