Thanks, but can you give me some idea of what to delete???
Thanks again
Nero or Roxio, they are the main burner softwares that come with it when you get the computer or a new burner.

Thanks Again!
I am trying that now, but let me give you a little trouble background.
When I purchase the software on the 17th it installed no trouble, with Nero installed. The next day, while FSX was running, I switched to the desktop. The system crashed, but can up fine except for FSX. It errored when I started it saying that it was not fully installed. I tried to repair, got the 1772 error. Then uninstalled it and here I am.
I have tried all listed things in knowledge base.
The install shield error is as follows:

By any chance, did you create a restore point prior to the installation. That way you could remove any installed files, restore and thus be rid of any registry changes. Then uninstall nero and try again.
Very odd error.

Ok I have tryed ALL things listed and more but still get 1722 error and after rollback 1603 error.
This has been crazy since it first installed OK.
Aby other ideas????
Thanks jim
All that seems to be bothering people with the installation are other programs interfering with it.
Burner software, firewalls, anti virus anything running in the background.
After you cleaned the registry you should have a clean slate and it would have loaded.
Outside of a clean install of Windows, no programs loaded and full Windows updates I can't think of another thing...but I bet there is an easy solution that no one has found.
What kind of beta testing was done, didn't they have anything on their machines, unbelievable.

I hope that does it for you, let us know how it works out.
Hi folks, this is Flyboy92's dad. We also received this error upon installing.
After 4 hours on the chat with Dell to no avail, I called Microsoft. They said They were getting HUNDREDS of calls about this error and are working on a patch for it.
They state it is a totally random thing that could happen on the initial install or any time thereafter. Ours occurred after we installed a larger ramm card. The game worked fine but the multiplayer option and music disappeared. We uninstalled everything, then reinstalled and that's when the error hit. Very frustrting to say the least!
And they have no clue as to when they will have the patch available.
Flyboy is not a happy camper!!
got the 1722 error followed by the 1603 error after uninstalling and reloading. I really look forward to flying this thing when all the bumbs in the road are straightened out. I am a little dissapointed with MS but my desire to fly simulators outweighs my irritation. I do hope they find a solution otherwise the dvd's are just coasters.
BTW, I tried several fixes found here and paid and registered so I could participate in the discussion and really appreciate having others to sound off with.
Here is another question maybe someone has experience with already, since I now can't load the software what if I buy another copy and try to load it? Will all future copies of this sim be unloadable? I bought the standard with the idea of eventually getting the deluxe as it was not available att so I will still have the deluxe eventually. I'm investing in sound card and new video card just to fly this thing. So how about it, anyone able to install a different dvd after having one stumble?
I've got the same problem, it was working fine for two days, I accidently left it running for 1 and a half hours and when I came back I was signed out f multiplayer, which is prbably becuase of the time out, and I couldn't log in again. So I restarted FSX and I got some errors, I clciked ok and FSX opened with the multiplyer button missing.
I just re-installed it then I got error 1722 and action is still rolling back.
Welcome guys!
Please let us know if this works for you.

Install only if this applies to your Operating System.
and let you know what results. I'm a bit tipped on time but will work on it right now for as long as I can
the arcsoft link shows to remove related .msi files from the installer folder in ~\windows. I looked and found no files related to fsx in the installer folder or anything even dated correctly. No joy there. As to the .net framework I have all current sp's and hotfixes for xp and .net. Guess we'll just keep trying.

That did not solve the error! It's strange because it was working, I left it running for 1 and a half hours and it's no longer working. Error 1722 is something to do with Windows Installer I heard but I have 3.1 which I think is up to date enough. I don't know if to keep searching the Internet or contact games support at Microsoft, but it isn't actually anything to do with the game, as the error stated it's windows installer.
yeah, i've had this problem with the deluxe edition. Bought it the first day and was stoked. Now i've tried installing about 20 different ways(no joke) and have had no luck 😞 Tried calling tech support 3 times....1: 2hrs hold, 1hr of guy telling me exactly what i had tried 2:disconnected 5min after connecting with technician 3:"high call volume, we will call you back in the next 72hrs" and no call back so i'm hoping that whatever someone said about a patch is right and it happens soon. Just to be sure, though, i'm going to try to call tomorrow after my job interview 😎
Same. I've been searching for hours no one that I have read about has found a solution. Thing is, is not like a file is missing, because FSX would of said because I had a file missing before I played it, I downloaded it and I played the game. This error on the other hand is just weird. It happens when it is installing the fonts or something like that right at the end.

I have had the game work by ending the process in task manager when the error comes up, but A:it's in restricted mode, and B:you can't get it out of said mode. The problem also happens to me when it says something about font's, but i don't think that the fonts actaully have to do with the problem...there has to be SOME link between all of us that have this problem... ❓

The sad fact is the ONLY answer that work was a COMPLETE reinstall of windows then after hours of updates loading FSX as the first app.
It took a full day to reload all my apps but everything, including FSX seems to be working fine. Thanks for all the support!!

well, i guess i have no choice but to try this, too. Lucky for me, i have a second hard drive just for data that i can keep some documents on when i reinstall windows. I'll let you all know how it goes...
Reading some other forums, Error 1722 seems to always Comes up on the second installation, following Error 1603. For now it seems the only working bypass of the Error is to reinstall Windows. I'll probably wait and see what happends before I take the next step into reinstalling Windows.
Do tell if anyone finds out anything.
I really would like not to reinstall Windows, I e-mailed my computer guy and I´ll see what he says.
There must be a fix, many people have this problem and not just with FSX.
Microsoft gaming support called me today.
As of now, 10/24/06 1830 EST there is NO fixed to this KNOW PROBLEM!!
I sent them Dump and log information about the fault and they will call me when they have a fix.
This trouble is caused by the install/uninstall/reinstall of FSX currupting Windows.
Jim
Hello all,
This is Ritesh and a Flight Simulator Fan, I have a resolution for the 1721 and 1722 that we are all facing while trying to install the Flight Simulator X.
I had the same problem with a different program and fixed it.
It turned out to be that the Windows Installer needed to be reinstalled.
Microsoft's documentation for this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315346
My resolution:
Download a copy of Windows Instlaller for your OS if you don't already have it.
You can find one at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
Boot to safe mode:
Easiest way to boot to safe mode.
Click on START then click on RUN and type MSCONFIG click on OK
Click on the tab BOOT.INI and check /SAFEBOOT
Click APPLY then click CLOSE and select to restart
The system will boot to SAFE MODE
Search for and delete all instances of: msi.dll, msiexec.exe, and msihnd.dll.
Next click start and click RUN then type REGEDIT and click on OK
Navigate to and delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSIServer from the registry.
Repeat for any other instances of MSIServer.
Reboot the computer to normal mode, by going back into MSCONFIG and unchecking the /SAFEBOOT and reinstall the Windows Installer. Note: Do not install the Windows Installer while in safe mode
If this works email me at riteshpawar@msn.com and even if it does not then please do reply so that I look for some further resolutions.
Always there to help
Merlin !!
but I haven't the time to try your fix at the moment. Hopefully I'll get to it in the next day or so and I'll get the info back here. Hope we can find the problem, it's irritating to want to fly this thing and not be able to load.
I get the same error when installing (1722) 😞
Worked 1st time, then said product wasn't activated (it was)
Crashed and won't re-install
BLOODY ANNOYING!
Microsoft said they are getting many calls about this game, it's their own fault! You shouldn't release a game without fixing errors and if you can't fix them make a patch! It's not rocket science to test the game on normal computers.
The game has been out for how many days? You would think that a reasonable QA process would have caught this. I see many other people reporting the same 1722 problems discussed here, from the US to the Netherlands to Germany. This is a PERVASIVE problem with MANY users being affected, yet you do a search on Microsoft's knowledge base on 1722 and you get NOTHING.
sure would be nice if they would at least post a KB article saying they are working on a problem. I'm not re-installing windows. Just as likely I'd spend 9 hours trying to rebuild my system and i'd get the same damn thing.
at least we'll all be prepared for Vista and make plans ahead to make a week free......
ok, so whatever you do, don't go for the whole reformat thing...I tried it, had FSX run twice, and then it REALLY screwed up my computer. I between all of the times that i ran the game, i hadn't changed a single setting. It just doesn't make any sense why it would do this . Microsoft tried to actually call me back while i was away from home, and they never called back at the time that they said that they would !!!!!! Now, not only does FSX not work, but now my computer takes 15min to boot, and my sound driver is now somehow corrupted....all i have to say is, way to go microsoft for brilliantly screwing things up
well i guess i'm not alone,i get to the end of install (after 5 try's ) and it says
"the wizard was interupted before microsoft flight sim x could be completely installed"
"the system has not been modified"- yeh no kidding!!!!!!
Is this an issue with sp 2 which i put on my system with cd the day before?and is the issue with the firewall activation?i,ve tried to find out as much as possible and tried installing with adware, spyware and a.v de-activated but still no go?
i get a system error 7035 or 7036 and an application error 11708 on my logs but there are no knowledge base articles?
😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞
ok, so after reformatting and all of that jazz that i talked about, i stumbled upon a program that helped me! I don't know if this will help you guys that haven't reformatted, but you can give it a shot...

There was an entry for FSX, and i removed it, and suddenly all of my problems were fixed. So this program may be able to shed some light on the problem. Good Luck!

Nice find tubaboy!
can't wait to download and try it. Seems like indeed the installer may be throwing the fault when trying to reload and this looks like it's headed in the right direction. nice find tubby....much appreciated
the installer cleanup is a very interesting tool. Unfortunately it does not find any remaining issues with FSX. It found every other little thing I didn't remember installing, what a relief. But no FSX.
On my notebook, where I originally installed FSX it did find the remnants and I removed them but I don't wish to retry the load process on the poor notebook, it's still mad at me from the first try with FSX.
Guess I'll just have to wait till MS gets off it's collective ass and gets a fix for this mess. Meanwhile it galls me alittle to have given rich man Bill another fifty bucks for something I get no use from. No wonder he's wealthy. Sell the dream boy, sell the dream. Then put them in a studebaker.
Tried the installer cleanUp utility, but there weren't any FSX items it could clean up for me, so no luck here.
I am curious, are the people having this problem loading this game on more than one pc/laptop?
Only loading (well, trying to) on one machine. Haven't had ANY successful installs since this $70 coaster showed up at my door.
guest wrote:

I didn't have any problem installing FSX on one of my other desktops (I didn't activate since it's an older computer, not the one I want to use for FSX) so it seems clear that this problem is related to installing and then uninstalling FSX. Be nice if MS could at least officially acknowledge the problem.
I have the same prob on one computer. Originally i installed it, and it worked great for about 3 days. Then the game crashed, and started complaining about activation problems.
So I uninstalled, rebooted, and attempted to reinstall and now get the 1722 every time. I have tried cleaning the registry of all references to fligh sim, purged temp files, even removed the fonts that it is using. Still no dice. So the condescending moron who claims its because we don't know what we are doing (several pages back) is welcome to chime in. I am a software dev and still cannot manage to get this peice of crap working.
On top of that, since I cannot retrieve a product ID for this since it must be installed, I have to pay 35$ to open a support ticket.
As stated above, at least a mention of the issue within an offical blog or on th KB would be nice. And reinstalling my OS is not an option. It would be nice if they spent as much time on the installer as they did on the activation components.
If this were any other app, I would have returned it long ago.
Yeah, if you get that random crash and then the activation errors... uninstalling just gets you stuck in 1722 error hell
Just install it, when it says error 1722, don't press ok, just unplug your computer to stop the rollback... Then start it back up. The files should still be there... Go dl the Razor activation crack that the pirates use to play and you should be able to play, online and everything...
Although 2 days later my files out of no where rolled back and I have to install again... wtf?
Check my thread, "I beat error 1722", It has some links I believe
Is everyone who is having the problem, those who had downloaded, installed and uninstalled the demo? I am trying process of elimination. The game works one pc but not the other. it was working on both for a few days and then it stopped on the one that had the demo installed and uninstalled. It just so happens that it was the same one that was getting the activation error mentioned above. I have two copies (2 diferent actv keys) and still it won't work on the 2nd pc.
Clean the registry and see if that helps.
Anonymous wrote:

I did have the demo at one time, and uninstalled it a week before purchasing the game.
I know this is a long shot, but might help the process of elimination.
I noticed the problems for me started right after I installed the SDK (simconnect). Did anyone else install the sdk?
I did.
I'm trying to uninstall Nero and it just won't, how frustrating!
Murfi wrote:

Reboot and do it from the control panel "Add and Remove Programs". Then go to start/search/ and feed in nero and clean up what's left.
Try to install in safe mode also.
So I managed to unistall Nero again, got to Error 1722, pressed alt+control+delete closed program and nothing.
I don't care if I got FS9 or X working, as long as it's a flight simulator I'm happy.

This is the latest response from the support tech I have been working with.
"We are facing many customers facing the same issue. At this point of time there is no such actual solution for error 1722.hence I suggest you to please wait for some days or opt for the product refund."
YAY!
Has anybody found a solution for this problem yet that actually works??
If there was it would be posted here.
fgsdf
If I were you, I'd ask for a refund till a patch comes out. 😀
There's a software tool that MS has developed that will address the error 1722 issue. I ran it successfully last week but was asked not to post or share the file. The contact who provided the tool to me has indicated that the program and associated instructions will be posted on the FSX support site today or tomorrow so I wouldn't return your game for a refund yet.
Hello,
There is no MS patch available yet from the support site for this issue.
Or am i looking at the wrong place ?
SilentGlider, thanks for the update. I hope it shows up soon.
Hello,
This is not a solution, because there should be an official resolution and not a workaround solution.
We will wait for microsoft to publish the official solution.
I think the repair tool will show up here:
http://support.microsoft.com/ph/7745
when it's available. It doesn't appear to be there yet but it's still early in the day Thursday is the U.S. so I would expect something to be posted within the next 12 hours unless MS ran into unexpected delays. The repair tool is definitely a solution, not a work around.

It technically is a solution because it's solving the issue.

It is not a solution, its a hack. I do appreciate the attempt, but I am not going to crack the activation on a game I purchased. If I wanted to do that, I would not have purchased it.
And using your logic, chopping off your arm to correct a hangnail is a "solution".
Running over your dog with the lawnmower because his hair is long is a "solution".
Starting yourself on fire because it is cold is a "solution".
Shall I go on?

'it's a hack' boo hoo.
You can sit with your crippled fsx while others are playing it from the hack. what difference does it make by cracking it if you bought it already?
and your assessment of his logic is poor. You think his solution is more harm than good.
If the hack works, it works. the only thing that it hurts is your feel-goodness about buying this error loaded POS. While it might not allow multiplayer...it's better than NOTHING AT ALL.
It's not like others who actually go through the rigamarole of reformatting and reinstalling windows and coming up with the same problem....however, with your logic of not using a hack, I wouldn't be surprised if you'd resort to that first.

Actually, multiplayer works fine from what I've seen on my computer. It could be a hack, a solution and even illegal in somebodys eyes but in my it's a solution and to be honest aren't I in the right to play the game I bought from Microsoft? With you saying if I wanted to use the hack I wouldn't of bought the game then you would of used a no cd crack, but that illegal, at least I payed for my game.

What happens when the next patch comes out and they prevent the activation hack? Now I have to re-crack it. And I am sorry, but any "solution" that requires me to kill the process for the installer and apply a crack is not a solution... Thats all I was saying.
And believe me, the is no "feel-goodness" here about purchasing it. But I would rather just not play the game then hack the system with a activation crack that may or may not contain trojans. Not to mention what happens when I run into other support issues and I cant get help because I cracked the activation.
Thrashaero, enjoy your hack and your crystal meth. I am sure your one of those people who spreads virii at lan parties and wonders why the lights on his cable router are always solid... even when you aren't doing anything.
A2k wrote:

Wrong. I would think the next patch would allow you to get the game working at all, nullifying the use of the crack. Otherwise if they don't fix this particular problem in the patch, yes, a re-crack is necessary. big deal...THEIR fault.
Cracking a game you already bought doesn't permanently have it cracked to void the use of your activation. When the patch comes out, you'd have to reinstall anyways to see if the patch fixes the problem that allows you to install...then your precious activation is back to normal.

Your context of a 'solution' is simply one that you don't think is 'official'. In which case coming to these forums that aren't all from FSX support or MS is in itself not a solution, is it?
If it ALLOWS you to play the game, doesn't do more harm than good...regardless of method, it's a solution. plain and simple.
WAITING for an official one from M$ isn't
If I had to choose between an official fix and a crack, both readily available, go with the official fix. Obviously that's not the case, so go with the crack or come up with your own solution....or wait. That's all I'm saying.
A2k wrote:
But I would rather just not play the game then hack the system with a activation crack that may or may not contain trojans.
That's what an updated antivirus is for.
A2k wrote:
Not to mention what happens when I run into other support issues and I cant get help because I cracked the activation.
As I said above...cracking the activation only allows you to play the game NOW. Once there's a patch that remedies the problem that the crack has circumvented, reinstall and go with the patch...that's if a reinstall is necessary at all (most patches overwrite what cracks crack...that's why cracks are released for each version of a game after a patch since the crack is no longer usable). After that you have a legit program and support won't be any wiser unless they scan your computer and get a report that you have files they deem unacceptable, at which point you can pretty much feel regretful and screwed for buying a game that in itself is a trojan.
A2k wrote:
Thrashaero, enjoy your hack and your crystal meth.
What the hell? Now you're just being an ass off of a botched joke...I think you meant to say 'crack'. But yes, I will enjoy the hack, thanks.

how insightful and profound!
Thrashaero wrote:
Yes its true, I eat worms.
Hahah, talk about profound. I guess we can agree to disagree. I do not prefer to let antivirus protect me. Especially considering anyone could embed a trojan or some other malicious code and AVS is probably not going to pick up on it unless its a known virus.
And my context of a solution is not simply of one that is offical. If you were to tell me that the solution is to clear the registry and reinstall the game, I would be fine with that. Even if MS didnt pick up on it. But listen to yourself...CANCEL THE INSTALL.... CRACK THE ACTIVATION. That is not a solution. Thats called rigging it. I guess you're one to use hot glue to fix your car, and paperclips to mend your roof. Nothing pisses me off more than a so called "Techie" who works at some crappy computer store and thinks that astalavista.box is the answer to everything. It might be for you, but when I have to clean your mothers system off because you instructed her to download "My Comet Cursor", I get irritated. And I may even steal a kiss as a result.
And by the way, to the original poster of the fix, no hard feelings. You did a good thing by figuring out how to play the game. But calling this a solution is not helpful to those who are not as computer literate as we are. Someone may not realize that cracks can be dangerouse and create problems down the road. And thats all I am trying to say.
Now hopefully we see the update soon so I can stop watching this thread.
just found a link to the fix
http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=121&topic_id=358941&mesg_id=371677&page=1
it seems to have worked on my PC !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes it worked! Thanks for posting that.
Finally... I can play.

I noticed that error also, but I think it was because I tried running the script while FSX was installing. Either that or simply running it twice worked.
Make sure you uninstall FSX completely, maybee even reboot and then try running it.
If you only need to reinstall because when you try to start the FSX it tells you need to reactivate then RadarMan's fix works. Unfortunately for me, before I saw this I had attempted to uninstall, got the old 1722 error and then when I applied Radarman's fix it looked like my attempts at uninstalling/re-installing had corrupted some of files and so FSX wouldn't work even though it no longer prompted me to reactivate
Microsoft have said that the 1722 fix may not be released (officially) for another week. If your only problem is that you are being told to reactivate then you should go with RadarMan's fix. In my opinion, provided you paid for FSX then it's clearly not a hack and it works.
If you want to use the 1722 fix then make sure that you run the code before you do the reinstall. Also, in my case, I didn’t uninstall and then re-install; I just put the disc in the PC and chose “repair”
Thanks to Radar Man I'm able to play FS X today. I waited 3 hours on hold for MS help using their 1800 #. MS offered a patch that did not work. They hung up on me later.
Reading Radar Man's suggestions I was able to overcome the issues.
I want to say thank you Man for offering a solution not expecting anything in return. That's true help !!! Keep up the good work !!!

Thanks for letting us know that it worked.
That information will help us all.
Look at this interesting finding:
My friend and I bought fsx deluxe at the same time, same store. I installed mine and, as you know, got the 1722 error that thanks to Radar Man I was able to overcome. My friend istalled his and got no problem and it's been running smooth since. I brought his DVD's and tried to install them in my system. Guess what, I got the 1722 error again using the same DVDs he used to install his. Note: he used his own key, and I was intended to use my own if it didn't give the 1722 error. So this doesn't seem to be a key related issue.
To add another spin to the already strange situation, my game dissapears every other day from the fsx directory and I need to re-install it all the time using Radar man's solution. Because I though that was annoying, I asked my friend to let me use his copies with the results described above.
Any Help?
What do you mean that it dissapears.
I mean, the folder is still there but empty. So the fsx icon in my desktop becomes a dummy isntead of the fsx functional (double click) graphic icon.
Thanks,

Thanks,
You loose 14 gigs of program.
Impossible, someone is playing a joke on you.
ok. I guess someone is.
Thanks,
How about the other issue of installing my friend's copy in my system but using my own key knowing that his DVD's worked fine in his computer without error 1722. Any suggestions on the root cause.
Thanks,
You have a problem on your machine that causing that error.
It doesn't matter what DVD's you use the problem lies in your computer "thankful fsx user" not in the program ( stolen from Shakespeare).
You have to find the cause of it, a program that you are running that no one else is using that has successfully loaded theirs.
Another game, an app or possibly something is missing from your system.
I think I found my problem. It's called MS .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 SET UP.
This application was installed in my computer while I was looking for a solution for error 1722 in MS website. It was a requisite to access the Support area I think. I'm not sure what 'framework set up' does but it seems to have something to do with the vanishing of the fsx files because while I unistalled 'framework' it showed me a message of "Rolling Back" so I open the fsx folder and saw the files disappear. So I guess 'framework' was the one playing the "joke" on me.
I will test the changes in the next few days, but does all this make sense to anybody.
Thanks.

I've also had problems installing flight simulator. I have contacted the helpline and they say their working on the problem as thousands of people have been having the same issues with it. I have just taken the game back and i'm going to try again with a new one in about a months time. It sounds as though their is a bug on the software. 😂 Hope this helps
i finally got the patch from microsoft to work but you have to do it for whichever user you are using it to install with if you have xp. they finally gave the right instructions for the thing to work and it worked perfectly

DONT DO THIS, THIS COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM REGISTRY CALL MICROSOFT! THERE BIG TECH SUPPORT GUY IS CALLIN ME BAK TMR WITH A SOLUTION, I WILL POST THEN
Hello, i have had the same problem you encountered and looked at the answers, the answers you had previously read are all dramatic and exeggarated(dunno how to spell) thus, i kept on browsing the internet finally reaching "support.microsoft.com" and eventually linked my self to "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928080" please, follow these simple directons to fix your prolem, of which i have done and made successfully
Well, this is not really a solution, but it work. I had the problem, and I've jusy made a system restore. At first I wasn't to confident about it, because I think that I couldnt undo my 16 uninstall. But it worked! Give it a try. Oh, and do not choose one restore point immedialty after the uninstall. I've choose one created 3 days before, because the one on the same day of the uninstall did not worked...
1 - Install dvd 1 e dvd 2
2 - in the error ( reset or shutdow immediately the computer)
3 - Place a shortcut of the FSX.EXE in desktop.
4 - Reinstall the Directx R (see DVD 2)
5 - Reinstall msxml.msi (see DVD 2)
6 - Copy your Cracked DLL to Directory
it´s run perfectly
Sorry my english
All Donne !
Hi All with a Flight Sim Deluxe Error 1722 Install Error.
I recieved one of these into my workshop and browsed the internet like a good technician.
This particular error is a MS Installer Package Error
I did the following
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928080
and then
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315346
I did this without trying to dump the failed install or clean the registry or any of those longwinded trials
I now have a happy client
Techie_Tazz in South Africa
i personally think that this is all up, but at this moment in time i am really pissed off and every time i see this error message it makes me want to chuck my pc out the window along with fsx.
thanks for listening

I think I have found the fix for all these errors..

Try this.
normally the problem is that you have a mistakenly compressed file.
browse your fsx folders and extract the files, if any, are compressed.
that happend to me but i retryed and it worked!
What a most annoying issue this game has
My flight sim crashed big style half way through my round the world adventure, landed in Athens, then all of a sudden im back to desktop.
Every time i tried to reinstall FSX, 1722 appears. trying the registry cleaner fix then on to the fix 3 posts up see if that clears this problem.
