The 'Rank' is absolutely meaningless and serves only one purpose:

To spam the boards -- Amen.

you have to post "posts" so you either add topics or reply to other topics. hope this helps. 😀 😀

NO - it doesn't help unless the posts contain any kind of substance.

Experience shows that new members post absolute rubbish just to increase their post count. Miraculously the silliness seems to abide by the time the ultimate goal of 1000 posts (speak Chief Captain) has been reached.

In recent weeks this childish behaviour has abated somewhat... are we going to start with this stupid practice all over again and thus transform these forums into a chatroom again where it is hard to find any flightsim related posts?

It could be worse in here: It could be like the comments that the screenshots get.

First Officer:
100 posts

Captain:
500 posts

Chief Captain:
1000 posts

The Ranks mean nothing, don't write posts just to raise the count. Write meaningful posts and in time, the count will increase and you will gain the respect of your fellow members.
