It is a stable stick, but you may not like it, especially in the throttle control. Good for Battlefield 2 but not good enough for FSX. Should have went for the Thrustmaster Force Feedback Flight system, or pony up the cash for the Saitek X52 Flight Control System.
I have the same joystick. I set it up this way- button 1 brake, button 2 change views, button 3 flaps down and button 4 flaps up, button 5 parking brake, button 6 lights all on/off, button 7 fuel truck, button 8 landing gear, button 9 engine startup, button 10 engine shutdown, button 11 pushback and button 12 attach/detach jetway. I feel comfortable with these and you might to. Space bar for reset veiw!
