Hi Peeps,

I have just installed FS2004 on my Vista machine. Everything is working surprisingly well considering - but I have a slight issue with FSUIPC.

Whenever I try and load an aircraft that needs this module, Flight Sim just crashes and closes.

I have tried the old re-install technique, but I can't seam to get my head around it.

Has anyone else had a problem?

Thanks

If you manage to remedy the problem, let us know what you did 😀

Hi Guys,

Turns out that all I needed to do was to reinstall FS9 with UAC (User Account Control) turned on. God knows what it did, but it works lol

Thanks for the info!

I've read a lot about the 'Virtual Nagging Nanny' - or User Account Control as Microsoft calls it.

Maybe the idea is NOT to install FSX into Program Files. We'll keep an eye on that for the future Idea
