What's the next step IF you're FSX.cfg is Not in your normal location - Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX -
Folder options are set to "view hidden", but the data is Not in Documents and Settings, anywhere - I do have a FSX.cfg, located in a Folder on my desktop (Backup Folder for downloaded planes, info, etc.
What do I need to do?

In that case it's nothing but a back up and has no relevance when you load the sim.
