AI Traffic landing short

Greetings,

I've notice recently that some of my AI planes are landing about 500 meters short of the runway. This becomes a little disconcerting when you are given clearance for take off from ATC. You line up on the runway and then have an AI plane roll right through you.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

Thanks.

The ai can behave peculiar, is this happening at the start of the sim, you need to let the sim run for a good 10-15 mins to let the ai settle down to some form of normality?
I've seen things like this happen lots of times at sim start up plus I've read it numerous times on ai based forums.

download a program called AISmooth. You can find it on AVSIM.

Thank me later.

That's the second time I've seen you recommend AIsmooth. Never used it myself so tell me, does it also rectify the problem of midget 737s crawling underneath your 747 wings and managing to bring your so far smooth taxiing to a complete stop?

Unfortunately that it does not. It will however send AI out of your way on approach, and virtually eliminate the phenomenon of 10,000 aircraft trying to land on 18L at the same time.

A bit of advice... turn the ATC voice that comes with it OFF.... it is sub par.

Ok thanks. Guess I'll just have to use my akimbo attitude a little more when I'm taxiing to the active at Heathrow during peak hour. 😁
