Mytraffic X & WoAI

I think it is either one or the other because of the .bgl files? I may wrong on that. I prefer the WOAI (I have near enough all of them), but I don't know if MyTraffic X are exact schedules or not (was badly let down with Traffic X as the schedules are not real) would be interested to know though.

The MyTraffic range has been good in the past though. With WOAI, there is alot of downloading, if you want the skies to be real, but with MyTraffic it will be pretty painless I expect (disc or download), it won't take you hours. Hope this helps.

I currently have MyTraffic 2010 installed, and while the installation was incredibly simple & they provide a ton of airlines, I'm really not all that impressed with the quality of the aircraft. This is why I was asking if I could add WoIA aircraft without screwing things up in FSX. If I ever get enough guts to try, I'll post the results. If anyone else has tried, please let me know how it all turned out.

Are the schedules real with Mytraffic 2010?

I got a feeling it really is one or the other! I prefer WOAI, as you have more flexability.

I came across another forum (sorry, I forgot to bookmark the sight & I haven't been able to find it again) where this individual was using MyTraffic 2010 but had also installed WoAI aircraft to supplement those airlines not covered by MyTraffic. In the near future, I think I will compile a list of MyTraffic airlines & try what this other individual did. For now, however, I've decided to slow down with the addons I add to the game & give what changes I have made, a thorough testing. I tend to make too many changes too fast.

As far as MyTraffic using real schedules.......I'm not real sure because I haven't really gotten too in depth with the scheduling part of the addon. The MyTraffic documentation doesn't say their aircraft follow realisitic schedules but that they provide realistic air & ground traffic. Make of that what you will. However, I would like to note that I have come across circumstances where I've seen Brazilian commuter aircraft all the way on the other side of the world in Indonesia. Clearly the addon isn't perfect.
