In Settings, ATC box is checked and volume is up... whenever I make a numeric selection in the ATC dialog, I hear nothing.

Any suggestions? (this is just the out of box FS9 ATC)

LOL...nevermind.... Its because I turned off the avionics switch in the airplane!
