Problems with Fs 2004 texture

Hi everybody !
I have a problem with fs 2004 and hope you can help me.
When I launch fs 2004 and I choose a flight , for example Meigs Feild I have problems in loading textures outside the airports ( I don't see water, I don't see land, just grey). While I'm loading It opens an error window saying that it can't read something (the texture I guess) because he's trying to read in a nonexistent directory.
I hope you can help me to solve this problem.

This sounds like a FS problem, but I still have suspicions of it being Graphics card related.
I can suggest you try to reinstall FS2004 and see what happens then. If that fails, try to get the latest drivers for your graphics card.

I already have reinstalled Fs2004 and I've got the same problem.
I'll try to check for new drivers for my graphic card and let you know.

Just out of curiosity, what graphics card have you got?

I have same problem.When I starts fs9,I have the only picture of dc-3 (the start scence) and nothing else appears after that.I wait and wait to see if the game load it.......hours and hours ..still the game does not load...why? I don't have any error messages.
If anyone can help I will be very graceful.

Without knowing anything about your computer specs, I would guess that you need to load the latest version of DirectX 9.0c.
