Is there a way of skipping any part of the journey on free flight?
i know its a simulator so its supposed to be real so at the moment im flying from my home aitport ( plymouth uk ) to closer airports, ive done Paris, and even south Spain which took over 2 hours. but i wondered if there was a way to do a journey quicker.... for example id like to fly from London to new york but thats gonna take near on 9 hours! ( a long time to sit on the comp) can you set up a flight so you can take off, fly for a while and then hit a skip button and be a few hundred miles from new york so in other words the whole journey would take an hour or so, coz lets face it the take off and landing are the most fun part.... any ideas if its possible? Download and print out the keyboard commands.
There is one that will skip most of a long flight.
You'll be surprised at all the commands that you are missing.

Slewing allows you to rapidly reposition your aircraft without flying in real time.
